NeuroFit Review Summary

This is another stack using the exact same formula we see coming up again and again on Amazon. Clearly, multiple “manufacturers” are using the same capsule wholesaler to source their products. They are then probably just getting the wholesaler to apply their packaging to the bottles, and then letting Amazon handle shipping. 

This method means you get low margins and your product doesn’t have a long lifespan (because your customers will eventually get wise to what you’re doing). But if you’re just out to make a fast buck, you wont care about that. 

The NeuroFit blend is terribly put together. The fact that we don’t know exact serving sizes means there’s a serious side effect risk here. The presence of filler ingredients is the final nail in the coffin here. Look elsewhere.

Like all of these duplicated stacks, NeuroFit seems to only be sold on Amazon. It is likely that Amazon does all of the fulfillment for NeuroFit. The manufacturer probably never sees a capsule.

NeuroFit has just come onto the market as a “brain health nootropic”. 

It doesn’t have a great deal of visibility right now. We only came across it by chance on Amazon. As of yet, there doesn’t seem to be any professional sites with a published NeuroFit review.

As of yet, we haven’t found an official website for #Healthy or for NeuroFit. There is another supplement company using the name NeuroFit, but this doesn’t seem to have anything to do with #Healthy NeuroFit. 

The fact that we can’t find any detailed information on who really makes this stuff isn’t a great sign. The fact that we can’t find a page to buy directly from the manufacturer isn’t great either; generally speaking, if you don’t want to invest in fulfilling orders yourself, you can’t have a lot of faith in your product. 

But that’s enough about that. What is NeuroFit exactly? What does it claim to do?

Since we can’t find an official website for this nootropic stack, we will simply draw on the information available on third-party merchant sites.

According to the manufacturers, NeuroFit is a nootropic supplement targeting clarity, focus, and memory. 

More specifically, it promises to deliver on a number of key areas of cognitive function. Strangely, some of the claims made by #Healthy just talk about nootropics generally. Here is what we mean:

This is pretty much the full range of what nootropics can possibly achieve. Everything from mood to memory to focus is dealt with here.

Obviously, we are supposed to infer that these benefits are associated with NeuroFit, as the bottle is shown next to the benefits and it is apparently a nootropic. 

But it is still weird that they say “benefits of nootropics” instead of “benefits of NeuroFit”.

So the question remains: does this stuff really work? Is it worth your money? Should you buy it?

NeuroFit Formula 

The formula is always the most important thing to look at when reviewing nootropics. All of the commercials, sales pitches and social media shares don’t mean anything if the ingredients are garbage or the serving sizes are too small. If the formula doesn’t stand up to scrutiny, you can move on.

Here is the NeuroFit formula:

As you can see, this is yet another tiny proprietary blend with far too many ingredients.

The proprietary blend is really what we’re interested in here. Sure, a vitamin stack is a handy addition to a comprehensive nootropic stack. But there’s nothing to get too excited about here; 6% of your RDI of iron is hardly going to have a big impact on your brain function. 

Poor Proprietary Blend

The NeuroFit blend is 692mg, split between 20 ingredients. 

That is just laughably over-stretched. 

There is absolutely no way that all of the best ingredients in the proprietary blend are dosed how they need to be. 

Take choline bitartrate for example. 

Choline bitartrate needs to be taken in doses of at least 200mg for it to have even a small effect on cognitive function. Ideally, we’d like to see about 300mg of choline bitartrate. 

Bacopa monnieri also needs to be dosed at above 100mg for it to really have any impact on memory function. Depending on the strength of the extract, you may need as much as 200mg per day to achieve optimum results. 

In a formula of just 692mg and 20 ingredients, this just isn’t workable. 

As if this wasn’t bad enough, the blend also contains an unknown quantity of Huperzine A.

Huperzine A requires regular cycling. If you do not take regular breaks, side effects will occur. The length of the cycle and the break is determined by the amount of Huperzine A being used. 

Since we don’t know how much is being used, we can’t accurately gauge how long we should use NeuroFit for without a break. Nor can we accurately judge how much of a break we should take. 

Even if we gauge the length of the cycles correctly, taking regular breaks will severely reduce the effectiveness of bacopa monnieri, which needs to be taken continuously for several weeks in order to really get going. 

All-in-all, this is a badly put-together stack, even if some of the ingredients are very good. 

-How Sugar Affects Your Brain-

Useless Ingredients

To make matters even worse, NeuroFit’s proprietary blend contains ingredients that do not have scientifically-proven nootropic properties. 

We have never seen any article, study, or even anecdotal report suggesting that olive leaf extract has a positive effect on cognitive function. 

We have never seen a robust, peer-reviewed clinical trial showing that licorice root helps with focus, mood or memory. 

We have no reason to believe that bilberry fruit extract has any effect on brain function or mental performance in any way. We do not even have reason to believe that it helps with overall health and longevity. 

We could go on, but you get the idea. 

We have no idea how much of the blend is dedicated to these absolutely worthless ingredients. 

So many supplement manufacturers use substances that sound exotic and health-promoting, but which in reality offer nothing. But it really goes too far when these substance are included in a proprietary blend. They could potentially make up 90% of the blend, so customers are paying good money for a dud supplement. 

This is unacceptable. 

Another Duplicate Formula

If the NeuroFit formula looks familiar, that’s because it is exactly the same formula used by a growing number of nootropic stacks sold on Amazon. 

And by exactly the same, we mean exactly the same, even down to the layout of the label.

Look at BioScience Brain Boost. Here is the Brain Boost proprietary blend:

And here is the Brain Boost vitamin and mineral stack:

As you can see, everything is exactly the same as the NeuroFit proprietary blend. Everything; the concentrations of the extracts, the ingredients, and the serving sizes are identical down to the milligram. 

This is a growing phenomenon on Amazon. 

We have reviewed multiple supplements on this site now that all share the same formula.

Brain Booster 40 is another example. 

As is i3 Nutrition Neuro Prime. 

We could go on. 

All of these supplements use exactly the same formulas.

Clearly, people are approaching a white label supplement manufacturer, purchasing a cheap, bog standard, off-the-shelf formula, putting on their own branding, and letting Amazon fulfill their orders. 

With this kind of arrangement, the “manufacturers” in question probably never even see the facility that produces the capsules. They almost certainly had no involvement in formulation. They just purchased a ready-made blend, paid for a designer to knock-up a label, and let Amazon do the rest. 

Obviously, this sort of arrangement doesn’t lend itself to longevity. But that’s not the point.

These guys don’t care about longevity; they will just bank on enough ill-informed, unsuspecting people buying their supplement that it covers their set-up costs, and then everything on top of that is profit. When demand eventually falls off a cliff, they just leave it listed on Amazon and move on with their lives. If it makes money, it makes money; if it doesn’t, they haven’t lost anything. 

We would be very interested in finding out which wholesale supplement producer these guys are all using.

NeuroFit Side Effects

When we don’t know how much of the nootropic ingredients we’re dealing with, it’s hard to talk about side effects with any certainty. 

But that doesn’t mean we take a neutral stance here; when your safety is concerned, uncertainty and guess work is not good. 

As such, we think you need to be very mindful of side effects when using NeuroFit. 

The biggest cause for concern in this stack is undoubtedly the Huperzine A.

When consumed in relatively large amounts, Huperzine A can cause serious side effects. These side effects range from mild headaches and dizziness to confusion, irritation and lethargy. 

Since we don’t know how much Huperzine A is in each serving, we have no idea how long each Huperzine A cycle should be. Nor do we know roughly how long a break we should take between cycles. 

NeuroFit is not looking good on the side effects front. 

NeuroFit Review Conclusion

NeuroFit is yet another nootropic being sold on Amazon using this same off-the-rack formula. We have reviewed several brain boosters that use identical formulas, and we are sure there are many more being sold on Amazon and eBay that we haven’t come across yet. 

As explained above, these sorts of products are designed to make someone a quick buck before disappearing. People will pay a capsule wholesaler to package the bottles with their branding, and then they will let Amazon fulfill their orders for them. 

The margins are small, but with nothing on the line, they have everything to gain. 

Obviously, the customer is the one who loses out here. 

The NeuroFit proprietary blend is poorly composed, and the vitamin and mineral stack is underwhelming; it doesn’t even match cheap, store-bought vitamin supplements.
