Neuro Focus Plus Review Summary
We’ve already reviewed one of Utmost Me’s nootropic supplements on this site; you can check out our Neuro Claris review here. As you’ll see from that review, Neuro Focus Plus is just a kind of upgraded version of Neuro Claris. Yet the result is still underwhelming. This is not the premium quality supplement Utmost Me make it out to be.
We still have quite an uninspiring formula; nothing we haven’t seen many times before. Some of the ingredients have nothing to offer at all. There’s no serious cholinergic, nothing to promote neurotrophic factors – not much of anything really. The Tyrosine and Rhodiola rosea will help with stress, but that alone doesn’t justify the price tag.

These guys seem to sell mainly through Amazon. Never a good sign.
Full Utmost Me Neuro Focus Plus Review
Utmost Me are slowly becoming quite a well known name in the nootropics industry. We reviewed their first nootropic, Neuro Claris, quite some time ago. As you’ll see if you read that review, we weren’t too keen on it. Let’s hope their new iteration is a little better!
So what is Utmost Me Neuro Focus Plus all about?
What is it designed to do?
How have Utmost Me made this product different to their existing offerings?
As you can see, Utmost Me Neuro Focus Plus is described as a “brain vitamin complex”.
If we check out the official Amazon merchant page, we see that a list of key benefits are provided. We’re told that people using this stack can expect:
- Enhanced focus
- More mental clarity
- Greater concentration
- Higher mental energy levels
- Increased “alpha brain waves”
- Energy without a crash
That’ a very interesting list of benefits. It all sounds great to us. Natural nootropic supplements can definitely improve clarity, focus, and mental energy levels. That’s why they’re used around the world by programmers, traders, gamers, entrepreneurs and athletes!
We’ve never really seen a supplement that claims to increase “alpha brain waves” before. We’ve heard of alpha brain waves of course; there are hundreds of YouTube playlists designed to increase these things. We’ll talk about Alpha Brain Waves in a separate article.
Generally speaking though, we don’t think you’re able to boost ‘Alpha Brain Waves’ through supplementation.
That aside, this looks like a really interesting supplement…assuming all of this is true of course.

How does Utmost Me Neuro Focus Plus compare to the best nootropics on the market right now?
Below is our complete Utmost Me Neuro Focus Plus review. We look at the formula in much greater detail: what ingredients have they used? what are the doses like? how does it all come together? We’ll answer all of these questions and more. If you have any queries, please post them in the comments section at the end. Please also share any experiences you have had with Utmost Me’s nootropics!
Utmost Me Neuro Focus Plus Formula
Check out the Utmost Me Neuro Focus Plus formula:
That’s quite a substantial formula: lots of ingredients to go through.
However, we think for the purposes of brevity we can pretty much ignore the digestive complex and the vitamin complex.
The interesting ingredients are all in the ‘Neuro Focus & Brain Energy Blend’.
What’s pleasantly surprising is that the ingredients in this “blend” are all listed individually, with their respective doses clearly listed alongside.
However, we aren’t overly impressed with the formula itself.
There isn’t anything in here with a real ‘kick’ – there’s no Alpha-GPC, no CDP-Choline, no Bacopa monnieri, no Ginkgo biloba.
Some of the ingredients don’t do a great deal, despite the amount of bloggers telling you otherwise.
The doses are also pretty low in most cases.
All in all, we think the word that best sums up Utmost Me Neuro Focus Plus is lackluster.
Let’s go through this in more detail.
What We Like
There are some things about Utmost Me Neuro Focus Plus that we really like.
For example, it contains a very good serving of rhodiola rosea.
This is one of the best natural stress and anxiety reducers in existence. Consuming rhodiola rosea before a stressful event (e.g an exam, an important day of meetings, a client pitch) can significantly improve your cognitive performance for the duration of the event.
A more precise way to word this is that rhodiola rosea supports cognitive function during times of peak external stress.
Utmost Me Neuro Focus Plus also delivers a solid serving of Tyrosine.
Like Rhodiola Rosea, Tyrosine helps prevent the kind of cognitive impairment that comes from being extremely stressed.
Tyrosine helps reduce the symptoms of stress that negatively affect mental performance, allowing you to stay focused on the task at hand.
Tyrosine is excellent for athletes who struggle with staying focused when under immense pressure and physical stress.
We don’t need a large dose of Tyrosine if it is coupled with other anxiolytics, such as Rhodiola Rosea.
What We Don’t Like
There’s unfortunately a lot more about this supplement that we don’t like than what we do.
The ingredients mentioned above are grwat, but they don’t constitute a serious natural nootropic stack.
They are decent stress reducers, no question about it.
But if you aren’t stressed, they won’t have much of an effect.
That is to say that neither Tyrosine nor Rhodiola Rosea boost your cognitive function above baseline.
They are excellent additions to a nootropic stack for when you do get put under pressure.
But a modern nootropic stack needs something that can put you over and above your normal level of brain function.
It needs to steadily IMPROVE your memory, INCREASE your ability to process information, and REDUCE brain fog.
It can’t just maintain your cognitive capacity in specific circumstances because there are plenty of supplements that do just that for a fraction of the cost.
We’re also pretty disappointed at the ingredient selection here.
If you think Tumeric Extract can benefit your mental performance, then start adding more of it to your food – don’t pay top dollar for someone to put it into a capsule for you!
Kola nut doesn’t do anything. There are some people willing to tell you that it does, but there’s no hard, scientific evidence supporting the notion that it helps with cognition.

Utmost Me Neuro Focus Plus Side Effects
The main side effect risk with this stack is the caffeine content.
Generally speaking, we don’t like to include caffeine in our daily morning stack.
We all drink a lot of tea and coffee, so consuming extra caffeine first thing in the morning (especially purified, concentrated caffeine) is a bad idea.
We like to take a comprehensive nootropic with DHA oil and a cup of freshly ground coffee each morning (except for one member of our team who starts their day with a run and protein shake).
But if you don’t really consume a lot of caffeine and you think you could do with an extra kick in the morning, this could be the way to go.
Just be aware of the side effects.
The 75mg of caffeine you get in each serving of Utmost Me Neuro Focus Plus is about the same amount as you get from a medium sized black coffee.
If you have a very low tolerance for caffeine, then this might be too much. But for most people, this is probably going to be fine.
The major risk comes when you start adding in more caffeine through other sources. 75mg by itself isn’t a lot, but if you’re already consuming 400mg per day, that’s a big increase.
If you consume your Neuro Focus Plus at the same time as another source of caffeine (i.e with a cup of tea or coffee), then the risk is even greater.
Common side effects of caffeine over-consumption include:
- Irritability
- Anxiety
- Jitters
- Hypertension
- Sweating
- Confusion
- Nausea
- Headaches
- Insomnia
Caffeine overdose can be FATAL.
It is vital that you consider your own circumstances very carefully before proceeding.
We aren’t doctors, and we don’t know your specific circumstances.
Utmost Me Neuro Focus Plus Review Conclusion
As we said above, this natural focus and memory supplement is best described as lackluster.
It isn’t a scam.
Utmost Me have clearly made efforts to produce a solid supplement.
It just doesn’t have any ‘kick’, ‘bang’, ‘oomph’; whatever you want to call it, you know what we mean.
It just doesn’t have the kind of raw nootropic power as other stacks available today.
The two main ingredients are superb anxiolytics. They can preserve cognitive performance during times of extreme mental and physical stress. But they cannot increase cognitive functioning above baseline.
Similar products do an awful lot more for a very similar price. Utmost Me haven’t done particularly well here.
