Brain NRG Review Summary
Nordic Clinical Brain NRG is essentially just a run-of-the-mill vitamin stack coupled with NADH; a coenzyme heavily involved in redox reactions, which are partly responsible for the “production” of energy in all of your cells.
However, healthy cells make all of the NAHD they need from Niacin, or vitamin B3. Not only that, but studies looking at NADH as a potential treatment for neurodegenerative disease have returned very mixed results. Basically, it doesn’t seem to work how you might expect.
After doing a full review of Nordic Clinical Brain NRG, we don’t think this stuff will work how you might think it will. Don’t be fooled by the unusual, very clinical-sounding ingredient; it will not deliver.
Where To Buy Brain NRG
If you really must try this stuff then we recommend trying to buy directly from the manufacturer. Nordic Clinical have quite a serious-looking online store. Still, exercise caution when buying such supplements online.
Full Brain NRG Review
We stumbled across this product entirely by accident, but it seems that Nordic Clinical Brain NRG has created a serious amount of buzz ever since it was launched.
Indeed, it’s surprising that Nordic Clinical have managed to stay under our radar for so long. They seem to get an awful lot of attention from people interested in personal optimization, they have quite an extensive supplement line, and by the looks of things they have been around for a number of years.
In any case, there doesn’t seem to be any detailed, lengthy, and impartial Nordic Clinical Brian NRG reviews out there.
So what is Brain NRG all about?

Basically, Brain NRG is a supplement designed specifically to boost mental energy.
Hence the name.
According to the official Brain NRG page on the Nordic Clinical website, this supplement can give you:
- Enhanced memory, alertness and concentration
- Improved mood and sense of well-being
- More mental energy
- Improved athletic performance
- Better long-term brain health
This is a really impressive array of benefits for a natural nootropic. Only the most comprehensive nootropic stacks on the market today can claim to deliver all of these things at once.
Even then, the improved athletic performance comes from better thinking under stress and faster reaction times.
Brain NRG seems to promise better physical performance in all aspects.
If it can give you all of these things, then we will no doubt be giving it a 10/10.
Now we just need to find out if it can really give you all of these things, or if this is all just marketing hype.
Can Nordic Health Brain NRG boost memory, focus, mood, and athletic performance? Can it do so while promoting good brain health?
These are the questions we’re going to answer in this detailed Nordic Health Brain NRG review. We’re going to start with the formula, before moving on to what other customers are saying about this stuff. Please post any questions you might have in the comments section below.
Brain NRG Formula
Here is the Nordic Clinical Brain NRG supplement formula:

We see that the Brain NRG formula is essentially split into two portions.
First, we have the vitamin stack that comes with so many nootropics these days.
While B vitamins are indeed useful to have in a nootropic, they certainly have limited effect.
If you are deficient in B vitamins, then taking a B vitamin complex will have a profound impact on your mental energy levels.
If you don’t have a B vitamin deficiency, then taking a B vitamin complex will make no tangible difference to your cognitive function, or to your physical performance (unless you are incredibly active).
Most people get more than enough B vitamins every day to be perfectly fit and healthy. Any excess of certain B vitamins are excreted through urine anyway.
Then, we have the ‘main event’; a relatively obscure compound called NADH.
What Is NADH & Why Is It In Brain NRG?
NADH stands for the reduced form of Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, or more usually, NAD.
NAD is a co-enzyme found in every cell in your body. It is heavily involved in the process of energy synthesis. Put simply, NAD acts as a facilitator for the reactions within your cells that “produce” energy (energy cannot be produced but you know what we mean).
So NAD accepts electrons from certain molecules, becoming NADH, which then donates this electron to other molecules. We then have a chemical reaction, and a release of energy.
So why is this stuff being used by Nordic Clinical as a supplement.

Well, some researchers clearly think NAD, NAD+ or NADH have the ability to foster greater energy levels within a cell.
The logic goes that, if you have more reaction facilitators, you can have more reactions. If you can have more reactions, you can release more energy. If you release more energy, you have enhanced performance.
Since so many cases of age-related cognitive decline are associated with the gradual death of certain brain cells, it makes intuitive sense that giving said cells and “engine overhaul” might set things right.
Some researchers actually believe that NAD intervention can successfully treat cognitive decline, various memory-related diseases, general poor mental performance, as well as a host of other brain-related illnesses.
The problem is that the studies commissioned to look at this have turned up very disheartening results.
For example, this study tried to find out if NADH was an effective treatment for Alzheimer’s disease.
Here, the researchers reached a pretty unequivocal conclusion: “Theoretical and practical arguments against NADH include underlying NADH disposal impairment in PD and failure of a placebo-controlled trial to show any clear benefit. While NADH may yet prove to ameliorate parkinsonism, recommendations for its use in PD are premature.”
When we look at all the available evidence on NADH’s role in enhancing cognitive function, we find that it is probably ineffective when taken under clinical supervision, and almost certainly ineffective when consumed orally as a supplement.
Brain NRG Customer Reviews
Here is a selection of reviews posted by “verified customers” on Amazon.
As always, we urge you to take everything you read here (good and bad) with a pinch of salt. There are fake reviews from manufacturers and competitors alike, and people are terrible at reviewing supplements properly.
But it is still useful to see what people are saying about a supplement before you buy it. Make of these what you will:

Shady Marketing
While we think the product itself should be the focus of any serious review, we do need to bring it to light when manufacturers employ shady, under-handed or downright deceitful marketing tactics to get people to buy.
Unfortunately, we see a few things on the Nordic Clinical website which set off alarm bells.
For starters, there’s things like this:

We don’t need to tell you why you should be wary of stuff like this.
For one thing, there’s no source here. We don’t know what study this is referring to, if it even exists.
For another, NASA have not endorsed this compound as a cognitive enhancer. Nordic Clinical know this. The insinuation is being made here in the hope that a few extra customers decide to try it on that basis.
Finally, we aren’t told what it means to do 94% better in tests. How big was the NADH group? How big was the placebo group? What was the test? How much NADH was being used?
Without answers to these questions, this little graph means nothing, and Nordic Clinical are well aware of that.
Nordic Clinical Brain NRG Review Conclusion
Nordic Clinical Brain NRG is essentially a B vitamin complex attached to NADH; a co-enzyme said to have potential as a treatment for various cognitive diseases, age-related memory loss, and other ailments of the brain.
Unfortunately, in reality this stuff seems to have little to no impact on cognitive function.
In theory, NADH could have a dramatic impact on the ability of a cell to release energy. This would, in turn, improve a cell’s efficiency, meaning better cognitive function as well as better physical performance.
The problem is that this doesn’t play out in practice.
This is another ingredient which sounds very impressive on the surface, but when you peel back the sales veneer, you find very little of substance.
We aren’t sure that NADH is absorbed and taken up by the body properly when taken as an oral supplement. When it has been studied, participants have taken their daily doses by other methods.
In buying Nordic Clinical Brain NRG, you are essentially buying a very expensive B vitamin supplement.
If you want value for money, we think you had better look elsewhere.
